Art, Psychoanalysis, Analytic Psychology, Dreamwork, Astrology, Mythology, Spirituality, Religion. Acquainted with the Unconscious
Rereading this. I read it 4 years ago and many things went over my head. While I understood in theory, not much of it was part of my conscious experience.Transference and countertransference and the image in Art Therapy, as the “transitional object” is deepening my understanding. Anyone else read?

Wrapping up my Grad Counseling semester with my last reflection paper on Listening. In previous Spiritual Direction training we read the Conversation book pictured. My introverted self was delighted to read a book that confirmed what I experienced in conversation- or lack of conversation.

Contemplating writing Morning Pages again. It’s been a year or so since I’ve written stream of consciousness in the early morning. Previously I kept at it for 2 years and it deeply influenced my dreams and dream retention. I just need an extra 20-30 minute wake-up time.
Hmmm.

Here is the book of the Jungian analyst Perera. She helped women free themselves from this patriarchal oppression. In a way so you can not be psychologically oppressed anymore. I have done the inner work myself, to free myself too. It is not easy but worth it.

The very feelings and energy I was recognizing and dealing with in myself these weeks after 11/5. My ruthlessness shocked me when I was able to see it from a distance. Everyone should read, but she is correct, you won’t like knowing.
Underneath somewhere is also an ego-centric baby full of idealistic delusions, which, by its touching innocence hauls others into wanting to help and rescue the poor person; but that inner infant is a parasite – it never develops and therefore sentimental pity is inappropriate
