Exactly. They DID walk out, and had plans for various groups etc, but most of that didn’t show up on tv.

I have a relative who is a MoC from a solidly blue district with some of reddest possible areas in it and watching her navigate…all of this over the past decade+ has been extremely illuminating. You can’t win for trying, that’s for sure.

My aunt left at 9:40 and others were leaving all along as well—NONE of them were shown on NBC, which we were watching. Who even knows.

I’m eternally frustrated by the Dems to be clear! But also annoyed because they are doing a combo of the silent protest and walking out alone and in groups (was texting w a someone in the room as she left) but it isn’t showing up on TV.

Yeah, they added bitters. (Let’s be honest, all these canned cocktails are just sparkling juice 😂😂 but at least this one does have an added complexity.)

At my first job out of college my wonderful boss had a tough relationship w a few of the other directors (she was way younger than them and they resented her, I think?) and I’d get a stress hive on my upper lip every week as I walked into the all-staff meeting. SO WEIRD!
