Sociologist, researcher at the Swedish Institute for Social Research (SOFI) and director for the Swedish Level of Living Survey, but life is about so much more than sociology.
I dare you all to post something unrelated to work!

Today I threw something on the wheel for the first time in a while. I made something, just not the thing I had planned to make, it suddenly flared out and became a bowl instead of a jar. Oh well.

Klokt om hot mot den akademiska friheten i Sverige:
1. Låg basfinansiering
2. Ökad politisk styrning av forskningsmedel
3. Fokus på forskningens nytta och genomslag
The attack on American universities by the Trump administration points to the need to protect the freedom of research in Sweden as well. Professor Hanne Fjelde's article in Forskning & Framsteg highlights 3 vulnerabilities for Swedish humanities and social science research. 👇

Mycket bra bok om du är intresserad av träning, kost eller båda! Ger dig fakta och praktisk kunskap i en vettig kombo så att du kan styra din träning och kost som du själv vill. Alltid förankrat i forskning!

You know what's worse than being raised in the most patriarchal society where girls and women were treated as 2nd class citizens? Of less value than sons? It is being gaslighted by people telling you it wasn't like that and how women and girls were and are treated equally

Ok so Jerry Lee Lewis's SISTER Linda Gail Lewis has been rockin' since the 60s. How many of you knew that?

Nine percent of those in the Rock-'n'-roll Hall of Fame are women.

If you're in Sweden, see the documentary 'Rock chicks' on SVT Play!

I think these acts of microfeminism have a real, substantial impact. They work the same way as all the acts of "microsexism" that we encounter in every day life, that are so obvious to women but so hard for men to notice.
I'm loving this idea of microfeminism. About how every day habit the little things can change the world. I'm especially loving the school teacher that calls the dad first. These acts are not insignificant they sometimes matter more. What is your act of micro feminism? www.npr.org/2024/12/04/g...
