Today we celebrated the 40th anniversary of our PhD program. The faculty board took the formal decision on 14 November 1985. We are proud of all the amazing individuals who have earned their doctorate at the DPCR over the years and look forward to our 70th thesis defence in January!

UCDP Reserach Engineer Mert Can Yilmaz joined a panel on responsible use of AI at the Korean Embassy in Stockholm, where he addressed AI ethics and concerns about military applications. The MIKTA event was organised by the embassies of Mexico, Indonesia, South Korea, Turkey, and Australia.

At the 2nd International Peace Forum in Granada, Spain, Professor Ashok Swain spoke about the importance of peace and peace education. He also participated in a high-level roundtable on security, democracy, and peacebuilding. For his work in peace education, the organisers gifted him a portrait.
