For the last couple of weeks, I have been dismantling an old train … a Red Rattler from Victoria. I’m moving a section of it home for an important new project :-)

For the last couple of days I have been recovering an old “Red Rattler” from a deceased estate. Epic amount of work & incredibly interesting. But it’s going to take time to recover most of it! I traveled on these trains when I was about 12yro. I remember the door open & my feet dangling out!

Yesterday I spent the day at Labassa filming a new project for an incredible artist. I can’t say much about it now but as soon as I can I will, however, the works presented are incredible!!!

As I depart Adelaide, I’m in awe of this stunning sunrise. Long drive ahead & with some concerns about diverting around fires in north west Vic, it’s going to be interesting day!

So exciting… the ship arrives at 1.30pm local time & I can’t wait!!!

Over the last 3 days, in between other work, I have been ripping the live edge off the boards we milled on our property. Just using a simple timber guide screwed to the tops of the boards. The boards are about 60mm thick & range from 300-400mm in width. I treat them with bitumen & natural oil
