If you're doing low carb, better than potato chips, but only in that diet.

Trading places with Elon would be like waking up as a cockroach and the worst part is that you would have traded away your knowledge of Kafka and the literary grounding to make sense of said experience.

it's really embarrassing these scams can't even put the work in to check for alternative PDSes. not that it'd go any better, but still, one should know the network that they're scamming on.

If I could make a request, I'd be curious to see the black fridays for frys in seattle in 2003 and 2004.

One manager is cutting a deal to fire everyone; another is hiring someone from their fan works; another has told legal to sign the Open AI dunk; yet another still is talking to an AI scam to possibly never hire another fan artist. It's a strong argument against companies getting that big. /end

At scale, the media companies have so many things in motion, that even before any consideration of lagging sentiment between different business verticals & cultures, there's going to be a lack of a consistent message as that's as easily attributed to incompetence/negligence as malice alone. /3

As in management & legal that are disconnected enough that they'll be doing the (sadly) usual anti-union job cuts while courting any company saying they have tools to enable that, yet be livid that another company isn't paying them a license, while still mostly turning a blind eye to fan art /2

That's definitely one way to square (ha) the circle. They want to make the most from the least & they don't want anyone else following suit when they can pull the ladder up behind them. However, they're also large enough entities, one side can be operating without any consideration of the other /1

against it when it violates their IP, for it if they've been told it'll save them money (when in fact it might open them to same IP liability issues.) basically, don't expect any executive suite to get this in full one way or the other yet; other publishers are also doing select all for now.
