On Wednesday I took part in an action at the Iowa capitol on Mental Health on the Hill day. The action was a die-in to highlight suicide rates in trans people (and trans youth in particular) and the toll anti-trans legislation takes on trans mental health.

A bunch of guys who probably never completed the reading assignments in college are able to evaluate the programs in huge government bureaucracies in a couple of days time and determine which programs to cut.
