This is why my situation perturbs me. To "make it" as an entertainer/creator of sorts, you need to have some level of audience.
Something inherent to a creator/audience dynamic is an imbalance of power. I want my audience to know that they are just as cool as whoever is on camera.
one idea in religion which seems extremely suspect is that any all-knowing being should be attracted to hierarchy, when only the most morally damaged humans are drawn to power over others. cops. the wealthy. most of us find learning from one another and helping one another much more attractive.

I think there is something to be said about a difference between cringe and poor taste. Poor execution, whether due to context, timing, or capability, can make something derivative either fall flat, be offensive, or even be considered "theft".

That all being said, I have an issue with my own dreams tasting sour. My mentality that no one is free until everyone is free really holds me back from wanting anything for myself, for if I do, it feels selfish. Even if my motive for success is so I have more bandwidth to help others.

It is said that the type of creature I am feasts on dreams, or memories. I think that paints a terrible picture of the reality of it.
It's more like dreams and memories radiate energy, especially when nurtured, and we feast on that energy that would otherwise go to waste in the environment.

People getting back from a con, "how did I get sick?!?! D:"
>Nobody masks anymore
>You went on multiple planes and through multiple airports
>It's flu season
>You spent a weekend in close proximity with hundreds of people from around the country

I don't see how people are surprised.

Why and when did big corporations go from "providing a solid service to immense numbers of people", to... "Petty phishing scammers, on an absurd scale"?

What if, every time we almost died, we actually DID die, but our consciousness moved over to an adjacent timeline where we didn't? Within the limitations of the body of course, like, if they're all dead around that time, it seems the consciousness can only move forwards.

christmas has gotten so far from its religious roots, wish we could celebrate our holidays like medieval christians (cross-dressing, being told by the bishop to stop cross-dressing, resolutely refusing to stop cross-dressing, threatening the bishop in defense of cross-dressing)

It's incredible how a song from a game I never played growing up can take me back to a time as a kid and bring all sorts of memories I thought I forgot to the front of my mind.
Curious that something I hadn't heard before could invoke nostalgia in me. 🤔

To furries drawing on walls and calling it graffiti. My culture is not a costume.
Graffiti comes from the latin root, graffit, which means to *write*.
Tags are a primary part of graffiti, and while characters or "monikers" as they are called exist, they are also done in a way that can be "written".

I am experiencing consequences for my actions. Sugary cookies on an empty stomach is a good recipe for heartburn.
I'm still gonna say it was worth it for the joy it gave me. X3

The Golden Rule is cool and all, until people start getting weird. What might be healing for one critter, may exacerbate issues for another.
Not that being weird is bad! Rather, we should learn to understand and respect each other's weird.
If life were "normal", it would be boring. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Heaven forbid that there be nuance to a situation. That certain activities and behaviours are context sensitive. 🙄

Loving seeing another round of, "if you are anything but totally sex positive, you're a fascist", from queers and furries.
Fuckin sucks that asexuals who aren't into sex just... Aren't allowed an opinion.
That rape victims are ostracized for not being comfortable around constantly NSFW environments.

Isn't it so weird to deeply know in your bones something obvious with no equivocation, for years and years, and then to one day see articles about people wondering if maybe the incredibly obvious thing you've known this whole time might be happening, as if the media is discovering it now??

I haven't posted my art anywhere in ages, but I'm happy with this low effort, freeform doodle I did the other day.
I love using restrictive palettes a lot. The only utensils used were ones I found on the street in my adventures. :)

World keeps tryna make me a main character of some shit, and I am getting too old and tired for it.
I just want like $100k, and a plot of land to farmstead at this point.

I'd like to remind everyone that even though Wikipedia is doing their yearly panic for donations, they get more than enough from major corporations every year.
It's a scam to pinch pennies from the consumers that they don't need to pinch.
I appreciate Wikipedia as a service, but this sucks.

So many great things are happening right now, I feel bad for sleeping at all.
I've predicted these downfalls for so long, and for once, I want to be able to tell people "I told you so", not because I was right, but because WE won. Together.
I do think things will be a bit more rough first, though.

I think it's so funny that not even a month ago, King Charles exiled his own half brother or something for being involved with Epstein, and Trump was all, "yeah, get that loser outta there!"
Sure hope he too is banned from Britain for it, it'd make me laugh.
The dramatic irony is so thick.
