Quinten Post dominated the paint to close out this game. His 12 rebounds were huge!

Podz +36 in 27 minutes. Isn't that something you want on your team?

60 Minutes journalist Sharyn Alfonsi sharply summarizes the appalling decision of Bari Weiss not to run her CECOT story: “If the administration’s refusal to participate becomes a valid reason to spike a story, we have effectively handed them a ‘kill switch’ for any reporting they find inconvenient.”

Now seems like a swell time to point out that Frontline just released this excellent 11-minute mini-documentary about what happened inside CECOT.

Does not squander his chances. He is forcing hands. Everything you want from a role player.
Yeah I think Will Richard should play

The only logical response from the Warriors is to deck someone on the Suns to see what happens.

Stars know how to kill penalties, yikes. This goalie stopping some misses from Mack.

I want to see Eklund and Graf play with Macklin but understand that some vets might make more sense. Is it possible that Mack winds up more shots to play for more rebounds? His power potential seems untapped.
The #SJSharks will need to find new wingers for Macklin Celebrini. For at least the next three games, multiple forwards could use the lineup spot left behind by Smith & Kurashev as opportunities. Read more on Sharks Hockey Digest.

Life Without Smith, Kurashev Provides Opportunity To Other Sharks
The San Jose Sharks won't have Will Smith and Philipp Kurashev, so other players will have a chance to play with Macklin Celebrini.

This author rightly discusses how well Mack seems to survey the defense like a 10 year veteran, but the Sharks have so much emerging talent that should not be overlooked. Consistently, however, it’s Macklin who stands alone as the next face of this league. He’s the perfect hockey player.

So far this NHL season, we are seeing a lot of young players and fresh faces start to take over the league, with Macklin Celebrini being one of the ones leading the charge. We knew that it wouldn’t be long before the league's young superstars broke out and kick-started the revolution for the next era of NHL hockey, but we also didn’t know it would happen this fast.

Watching SC Warriors on TV tonight. With LJ Cryer and Marques Bolden on the roster, how are they 1-11? Danna tells us that the new two way player Leons is good friends with QP. Nice to see PBJ still chasing his NBA dream. He looks dominant.

The cheap shot on Will lit an inferno in 19 year old Macklin. He led his team to skate their asses off and create those blistering slapshots and flying putbacks. I watched every game Michael Jordan played for the Bulls and this feels similar.
If you get a chance to watch a replay of this game (or just the 3rd period) please do. Two of the Sharks' top line got injured & they were down by 4 with less than 13 min to go. Ultimately they tied the game within the last 2 min of regulation & won in OT 🤯 UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE #thefutureisteal
#TheFutureIsTeal After trailing the Penguins 5-1, the Sharks rally to get past the deficit and win the game in overtime, 6-5.

Jimmy passes on a dunk to throw it out to Post who thinks a long time before clanking a 3. Jimmy and Steph both missed free throws in the final minutes. Oh well.

Kerr looks to be trying many combinations tonight spreading minutes around to 10 players. They should respond in the second half with defensive intensity. Close out on threes and defend the post looks. No Richard or Kuminga tonight. Want to see some better D.

Pat and QP starting this off!

It’s still not too late for Jonathan Kuminga to get back in the rotation but it must start in practice because Gui has triple threat capabilities now. Can he regain his form from the first 5 games. I just want other GMs to focus on those first 5 games and imagine how he can help sell tickets!
