I am a disabled woman - most are invisible, but that doesn’t make them any less real. I have needs just like every other human, not sure how special they are. There are a lot of misconceptions about being a woman and/or disabled - 1/2

No matter where you are on the spectrum of support for DEI I find there tends to be a good deal of mythology, misinformation, and misunderstanding around the objectives. Look it’s just not emotionally possible for me to make two trips from my car to my apartment post-errands. I would rather be crushed under the weight of 42 reusable bags, 3 half full beverages, & the slipperiest box ever handled rather than make that 2 minute trip TWICE!!

I feel SO annoyed when people who know better still refuse to do better. Alt text and capitalizing hashtags for basic accessibility do not take too long & are cool. Would a very cool person like me (see pic) with limited time, steer you wrong? Don’t be ableist (and don’t steal my look). #Disability
