I am a disabled woman - most are invisible, but that doesn’t make them any less real. I have needs just like every other human, not sure how special they are. There are a lot of misconceptions about being a woman and/or disabled - 1/2

My cousin has moved to hospice so I’m on my way to support & be there for his homegoing. It adds an extra layer to #ChronicPain math. The last thing I want is to add to the things we’re navigating, but I also can’t be as agile as I used to be. I can’t afford my own place on Maui plus I do want 🧵

Look it’s just not emotionally possible for me to make two trips from my car to my apartment post-errands. I would rather be crushed under the weight of 42 reusable bags, 3 half full beverages, & the slipperiest box ever handled rather than make that 2 minute trip TWICE!!
