Same. I am frequently the only person masked everywhere I go and get questions even in the “liberal” San Francisco Bay Area. Even my close friends who know my risk factors forget I mask & need them to. It’s an extra layer of emotional tax and invisible labor for many of us with disabilities.

I mean, yes, they are entitlements in that we’ve paid into them since our first job and are, therefore, entitled to the benefits.

…those misinformed beliefs others have can become barriers for me to get jobs, care, and education. “DEI” Laws exist not to give preference to minoritized folks, but to ensure that someone else’s bias doesn’t cost us opportunities & access. 2/2 #Disability #DEI
