it’s crazy how many things made sense when i accepted i was transmasc.. it was a good way to weed out those guys who claim to be bi but then get with a transmasc and realize oh wait, this is actually not the same as being with a gay woman!

the men on my dad’s side were raised by my abuela who takes no shit and would not settle for a man who doesn’t do shit. her husband always cooked and cleaned and showed up for our family. i may have many MANY differences w my conservative family, but i do feel lucky in this regard.

like my uncle is the one who does a majority of the cooking and hosting for all holidays and get togethers. my parents both cook for christmas eve and thanksgiving and other gatherings. and EVERYONE helps with cleaning. i can’t imagine allowing men to just do nothing????

at least we get off at noon on xmas eve.. and i think we get the day after xmas off too… i was gonna use pto for it but literally all of us will be gone that day soooo no reason to even be open
