I've been having a tricky time but also, it's helped me look at what I HAVE. I have to go to the dentist? I have dental insurance and credit cards! Cat having medical issues? I work at a vet office and get a discount. I'm sick? I have a workplace that lets me call in sick so I can rest.

Went to the dentist and had old work removed and a new cavity cleaned out! Now I have a temporary crown while I wait for a real one :D it was a very good dental experience!

Finished my 9th book of the year last night! I made a resolution that I would read more this year. And while 9 may not seem like a lot over the course of 8, almost 9 months, it's a big accomplishment for me who has gone years without reading a single book.

Cancelled my Spotify account and deleted my profiles. Just can't support a company willing to donate large sums of money to AI military weapons. While I can't boycott every horrid corporation I can at least control where some of my money goes.

I impulsively bought a guitar a couple of weeks ago and I'm actually practicing?? I'm usually horrid at keeping up with practicing but I'm doing it! I've also been reading more books which I made as a new years resolution and stuck with it?? I don't know if I know myself anymore and thats OK

Between my family history of melanoma and being told by my ophthalmologist that uv light will make my cataract worse (it's not bad she said we just gotta keep a watch on it) life really said "keep this bitch out of the sun".

I don't know why but I STILL get excited for my birthday even though I'm turning 35. Like, I don't do big things for my birthday, I don't get tons of gifts, I don't go out, and still I feel giddy like a kid. I guess that's not a bad thing

I wore my haori to the Boston Japan Festival last weekend and I was a bit nervous. But I got quite a few compliments on it that made me feel a lot better! I wish the weather had been better but that's spring for you!

It's all set! While anxiety inducing to wait for our turn and a few fixes of the paperwork, I am officially divorced. Hearing another couple's case with property and hundreds of thousands of dollars between them, I'm glad we didn't have stuff to split.

I got my divorce trial on Tuesday and my anxiety is tap dancing in my brain. I swear if this judge jerks out chains on this I'm gonna be peeved. It's bad enough they are dragging two people into court (one who doesn't own a car and the other who is disabled) and taking time off of work. Cont. -
