Today the @nytimes.com lost a customer. For months it has been hampering accurate journalism by both-sides-ing issues that do not have two legitimate sides. By painting authoritarianism in a favorable light. By helping our wannabe dictator to continue to amass power.

It’s also telling when you click through (the online version) what images they chose. Close ups of a handful of people at a time, videos of quiet, disorganized chants.

Not images that give an idea of the size and scope, like these from Boston, New York, Chicago, and Minnesota, for example.

I just ran an experiment. I tried commenting “libtard” (on my own Instagram posts that I created just for this). No warning or admonishment from Insta.

I tried “r*tard” and “f*ggot” too, for good measure. Still no warning or admonishment.
