The sea arrives, blue and muscular,
as if it could lift the whole world into its mouth.
Across the bay the cliffs glow,
and the last sunlight clings to them
like a hand that refuses to let go.
I stand where the water thins to glass,
and my heart breaks open in the salt air.

If you follow Joanne Freeman she reported last week that Holocaust survivors living in assisted living homes, I think in Florida, we asking home administrators if they could hide their Haitian nurses and care-givers in their apartments to keep them safe.
