In the N64 version of MK Trilogy, the ninjas who were added to UMK3 (Scorpion, Reptile, Jade, Kitana, Ermac and Mileena) have their healthbar names written in a different font from the others. While Smoke Classic Sub-Zero and Noob Saibot reuse old assets, curiously Rain also uses the standard font

I may have started on the NES and the 16-bit consoles, but as some know me, the console that defined me at an early age was the N64. Star Fox 64, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, the Star Wars games, these turned me into a gamer.

The last game made by Midway. It's also be the only game with John Tobias involved post-Special Forces following his departure from the company several years prior. Despite the flack it got for its toned down violence, it also introduces elements that would later be in the NRS era of MK.
17 years ago today, Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe was released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in AU. It was developed and published by Midway Games.
