Had to go to my OLD OLD OLD DA to show someone a pic and right next to it was a comic I did in college and got a good grade on. It 100% totally doesn't have an awful, traumatizing final panel at all. It's super wholesome.

Within Dorbley lore, I struggle with how I would design their villages/architecture. Because on one side, they choose simple, secluded lives and they barely have property, no need furniture or houses at all. On the other side, their TF powers could allow everything to be made out of like, platinum.

Daughter is back with her Mom for a few days. I can stop dissociating and focusing what little I have on her for the time being. I feel so guilty that Rufus' death is messing me up more than Mom, but that's probably because his was sudden and he lived with me. Going to be hard to just draw again.

Daughter's low glucose alarm goes off. She literally, just needs to eat 2 gummy bears and she's no longer in danger of a diabetic coma.
Cue half-hour of having to shove a dozen in her mouth, pouring water in there, hoping enough sugar gets into her while she sits there, not chewing or understanding

Being alone,Having both my cat and my daughter really sick over the holidays and one of them dying has seriously fucked me up. My brain is only now processing this. I don't even know how I'm supposed to just switch to drawing now, but rent is due. I just need to process, scream or punch things, idk.

Daughter woke up from a nap and violently threw up all over her grandmother's furniture. I'm just heading home. Christmas alone with no cats and a sick daughter. I really wish I wasn't such a charity case and complainer. But things just keep happening
Christmas gets less magical for me every year, sadly.
