I think it likely depends on the cat. Each name feels perfect for different personalities:

a) a chaotic-evil tuxedo
b) a very posh and anxious longhair
c) Zero Brain Orange.

Can’t decide if a black cat is Strangelove, Kissov, or Buck Turgidson. Maybe Merkwürdigliebe.
Which Dr. Strangelove character is the best cat name:

a) Brigadier General Jack D. Ripper
b) Group Captain Lionel Mandrake
c) President Merkin Muffley

Alright: energySky protection school, by popular (?) demand 🔌💡

I'll try to post a new topic dailyish for a while or until I get tired of it, I'll be simplifying matters significantly for laypeople and the character limit - it's nearly always going to be more complicated than I can describe here

I wonder if I will unironically hear the phrase “Climate Stalin” at this event.

Woke up to no hot water. Elevator down in my building, as well.

Supposedly both caused by a “power surge” which feels extra cruel on a day when I am interviewing with an energy company.

Saw this piece by Walter Netsch on display at the Chicago Art Institute, and I can't stop thinking about it.

My favorite "didn't happen" energy project is the proposed 3.4 GW pumped storage project to be built under Chicago and integrated with the "TARP" (deep tunnel) water management infrastructure.

Even now it still would offset 19% of ComEd's peak demand

Bit of an infodump, but here are 13 readings I used for teaching my class (nontechnical, science policy) during our module on the grid:

Performance-based regulation: Seeking the new utility business model
As the push to upend traditional utility business models grows across the country, new leading efforts are showing results where others missed the mark.

I am TAing this January for a seminar course billed as “business student’s crash course in climate policy”

The prof has allowed me to revamp the energy unit to include more on grid systems.

Does #EnergySky 🔌💡 have any suggestions for recent articles /discussion? MBA audience, so no big words lol
