A small shift, a big impact: rethinking lawns in a changing climate.

What you’re seeing here is more than a visual upgrade from parched yellow grass to a thriving green flower bed. It’s a climate conscious choice.

How is your community adapting its green spaces in response to climate change?

Ever wonder what Fordyce’s sermon is about? Two volumes of how women should behave: "At any rate, the majesty of the [female] sex is sure to suffer by being seen too frequently…”
And Mr. Collin’s read 77 pages before Lydia interrupted!

What’s your favourite literary trope?
I’m a sucker for enemies to lovers.

Chick Lit = books for women. Like the derogatory terms “you run like a girl/hit like a girl”, it meant you “read like a girl” ➡️ you’re vapid.
Thankfully, it’s now been rebranded as Uplit- Uplifting Literature. My favourite trope is the friends lovers. What’s yours?

Misogyny, leave my books alone.

I cared about the planet years before I became a Christian. After I came to faith I was shocked by the apathy the church felt for the earth. The most practical way to care for the poor is to not trash their home.We know the world’s poorest are the most vulnerable to climate change. We can do better.

And Then it Happened is a big hit with our kids, especially the boys. I found myself laughing out loud at many points -and I’m usually pretty hard to impress when it’s bedtime.

This house, the one that didn’t burn, is a beacon that shines a light on preparation. From the cement perimeter fence, fire resistant roof, and intentional landscaping, this house was ready. Did you know that Japan and Haiti have the same natural disasters? Earthquakes, floods, landslides etc 1/3

It’s that time of year when there’s no point checking out the weather forecast. Once it reaches negative double digits it’s just freezing.
