Just a little guy trying to live to see them die.
There are no less than three TVs going at old people volume at any given moment, all tuned to the same channel but thanks to digital streaming all approximately three seconds out of sync with each other.

I'm still going to finish the tavern and submit it, regardless.

The wording specifically mentions the separating floors, but it also says the rowhouse design and interlocking bases, which I definitely don't have going on, so I think I'm in the clear.

Meanwhile my dog is not ready for bedtime and I am about to pass out.

My sister gets to bring home her new puppy on Saturday (a black pug named Wednesday) which is bittersweet because she had to put down her older pug (a fawn named Lewis) this morning. Their other dog, Cayenne the coon hound, is devastated about Lewis. She's been laying in his little bed all day.

My dad and I are smoking two big salmon fillets on Wednesday to make multiple salmon dip recipes and find the best one.

The streaming transition wiped out local news operations at almost the worst possible point, with print dead and local cable in decline.

We stopped seeking out real news and thus journalism is shrinking.

And what's left has to pull your eyeballs to your product.

There's a hell of a learning curve to Lego Studio. Holy fuck is the brick docking sensitive.

There are so many little details on this I'm proud of, like the water pump and washbasin out back and the brickwork on the chimney.

Finally, walls down of the kitchen!

Walls down on the first floor bar area. In the first pic you can see the coathooks and the quest board, because every tavern needs a quest board. (Also shoutout to the ferret animal companion of the very drunk ranger in the corner.) The innkeeper totally has a machete behind the bar, lol.

There are voids where the reinforcement plates align with the tiles/anchor plates of the walls below it so that it keeps the pattern going across the rooms!

Eventually it will be three floors plus a roof, with the third floor being bedrooms and the innkeeper's apartment.

Small detail no one else would notice:

The model is designed so that each floor lifts off separately. The palette for the contest has a limited selection of plates, so I had to piecemeal the floor. I reinforced the seams with plates arranged so that it makes a coffered ceiling for the level below!

I hid the outer walls so you can see the details on the second floor. Of course I had to include lesbian knights enjoying the bard and a bottle of wine.

Good news, I have a mechanic I really like that's attached to a Dunkin.

Bad news, you can't book inspection appointments online, you have to call.
