Walls down on the first floor bar area. In the first pic you can see the coathooks and the quest board, because every tavern needs a quest board. (Also shoutout to the ferret animal companion of the very drunk ranger in the corner.) The innkeeper totally has a machete behind the bar, lol.

Small detail no one else would notice:
The model is designed so that each floor lifts off separately. The palette for the contest has a limited selection of plates, so I had to piecemeal the floor. I reinforced the seams with plates arranged so that it makes a coffered ceiling for the level below!

I hid the outer walls so you can see the details on the second floor. Of course I had to include lesbian knights enjoying the bard and a bottle of wine.

The Lego Medieval Tavern and Inn design is really coming together! I've got the base, ground floor (kitchen, bar, seating), and second floor (additional seating, fireplace, bard) almost finished. I haven't finalized the roof details over the back door and I'm going to do more ivy on the blank side.

Ridiculously proud of this tree and new base I designed for this medieval tavern project.
And yes, that is a Lego ferret. I put it on the model so that when I start on the minifigures I'll remember it exists and can design a ranger to have it as a companion in the bar.

In my continued descent into Lego madness, the second quadrant (the bar) is complete, and I docked the four quadrants of the ground floor together to see how things are lining up.

Anyway I went for the $2.29 broccoli and Brussels sprouts and walked out with an Advent Calendar For Dogs, which probably explains why I'm unemployed and broke.

I've finished one quadrant of the ground floor: the fireplace and bard! (Except I may have to modify the top run of bricks on the chimney to make them smooth tiles once I start the upstairs area.

I have officially sorted all of my loose cards by rarity, color, and alphabetical by name.
The other piles are foil/fancy basics, playtest cards, legendaries (sorted by type, color, alphabetical by name), and EDH cards I keep separate for deck building (Command Tower/Arcane Signet/Sphere/Sol Ring).

It's a neutral on neutral but the light brown and beige have this white speckling that's an actual raised texture, not just a color.
