Transformed this Subaru pit stop drawing into Christmas illustration. I may have been burned out, but drawing is something that somehow makes me happy, even if learning fundamentals is quite boring #art #sketching #drawing #pencil

Astronaut is a symbol of going beyond of the comfort zone, to explore new things. After so many years of working digitally, it’s refreshing to try traditional art materials. Black paper, white pencil, metallic marker. Quick composite in photoshop to add some glow and sprinkles #art

Trying limited Copic sketch pallets. I mean, you can definitely get darkish brown color of Coca Cola with yellow+blue+red, but…

The revolution starts today...

This is the bonkers 'Gboard Dial Version' from Google Japan. Part design exercise, part April Fool and totally mad. Imagine 'typing' those terse 256 characters with this, with much more care and enforced presence.

Google Japan designed a physical keyboard that uses a series of rotary dials instead of keys. Gboard Dial Version will never be a commercial product but you can download the source files if you want to build your own. blog.google/intl/ja-jp/p...

It’s okay to crash out from time to time. Not any of us is a robot. Except maybe the Protogens*, those are most seasoned ones. *Except those who were damaged during ADB patching or have been reassembled multiple times in unsuitable environments, were subjected to extreme examples of poor coding, etc

I threw out my TV out of the window when I was 14, because I had broadband internet, and hated politics and commercials… It was pretty common for people to scuff at politics, news, and drama back then. Nowadays there’s no social media without politic news and drama.

I miss the old days when LiveInternet was a thing. long form content, blogs, journals. Something with meaning, or passion, about art, reflections, self discovery, about the journey that the life is. Blogs about curious things with history. Stories. I think I may be on the edge of discovering reading

I want to ditch smartphones, computers, and tablets with screens entirely. To have that XR web, that would finally bridge the gap between these digital and physical realities. We are all get so used to flatscreen paradigm, that we just forgot that web can be different. It will be different.

All those XR environments with pass through cameras make me wonder how social media would blend in with the real world. Would it be semitransparent feeds hovering above the surfaces, or like an arrangement of posts that could be interacted with in a 3D space? What’s next? Sharing AR models as gifts?

Destroyed joystick on a left controller of Quest 3 to the point that it has started to drift. Should have been more gentle. Waiting for replacement parts to arrive, to fix it myself. Disassembly/reassembly of a controller is easy, but requires some attention and carefulness.
