Okay. Both are good in their own unique way. Minecraft is still a great game which has decades of labor poured into. But Hytale feels fresh and novel in so many ways that it’s refreshing to see how the core mechanics could deviate. Why not have both? Both are good

Where mojang was like: Guys. We want to make axolotls as biologically accurate and representative as possible because we have the responsibility of a big developers, Hytale is like: You want to play as an orc? Here you go! Pet a Dragon? Consider it done! Anything that will make game fun!

Game turns out to be good. Developers are monitoring the feedback and improving the game on the go.

What makes Hytale so special? A variety of different factors. Mojang was doing votes for mobs and was committed to keep the gameplay the same as it was always been. It was boring. Then hytale bomb dropped. Nah, another clone of Minecraft… oh, it’s cancelled, there’s no hope…

Exactly. A lot of dems (or bots) were being sceptical of voting because they don’t had perfect candidate. The result? Felon with criminal records won and reality was shattered
