Game designer, mostly. Knows how to make a custom editor in Unreal, write jokes in a foreign language, track police movements across a large city, and publicly scold an abusive party leader.
Bonus points if it turns out there's an undocumented setting that just turns the guy off completely because he was driving the QA team nuts.

This is way better than I expected and it makes me want to invite friends for karaoke.

I would be tempted to say: "kurwa?".

If they give me a puzzled look, it means I need to switch to German.

If they smile and say "Putin chujło", it means I need to switch to Ukrainian, or perhaps Russian.

If they begin to insult my mother, it means I don't want to buy anything anyway.

They may be both calibrated to an incorrect reference point, but at least they're going to keep the exact same offset forever!

My insider friends keep telling me not to lionize Valve, because internally they have just as many issues as everyone else, and nothing they do for the community should be taken for granted, but still, on a scale from 1 to Elon Musk they're like 2 and a half.

It gets worse: a lady in her thirties, with a partner and two cats, is the same person I gave math lessons to when she was preparing for her end of middle school exams (i.e. she was 15 then).

They weren't moving fast enough to cause time dilation. Science has failed us again.

(ugh, the first "only" should be "always", but there's no edit button because people are scared someone's going to change their entry completely after they've liked it)

My guess is the dear aunt was only talkative, only it was repressed. xD

Bupropion didn't help me at all. However, when I *stopped* taking it, I suddenly started feeling much hornier. Very awkward, especially given that I broke up with my GF soon after.

I've just realized there might be considerable demand for a robot with an amorphous main body and lots of tentacles, and I kinda hate myself for having that thought.

You're joking, but I used to have severe anxiety around groceries, to the point where I sometimes couldn't enter the store, and I cured that by buying myself a donut every time I did groceries. Literally treated anxiety with instant gratification.

Have you met my boss (actually multiple bosses across 20+ years of career, honestly at this point I would just play the lottery in the hope of winning a big prize and never having to put up with those guys again, unfortunately I know enough probabilistics to understand lotteries so I won't)?

I happen to know half of that game's team in person, because we all used to work at People Can Fly around 2009, and if the guy you're talking about is the guy I'm thinking about right now, then he's even worse than you think.

Fairly common problem with all kind of contests. E.g. I never took part in IGF, but I did help with an application for a state subsidy, and you would think a formalised process that comes with a legally binding manual would be better, but no, you have to hire specialised consultancy to help you.

"Krytyka Polityczna" would be first to publish an op-ed on how Mamdański's win is actually bad and how he personally is actually bad for the left (read: bad for "Krytyka Polityczna"'s fantasy of one day becoming THE left). "Oko" might report that "yup, he won all right", without commenting.

Ironically, I have my own pet theory that I have no means of verifying, and it's about the long term impact of hundreds of years of Szlachta and then tsarist tyranny on the general levels of mutual trust vs. toxic self-reliance.

Anything is possible with ZomboCom. Even this.

Not joking: when I started playing Fallout 4, and it turned out I can remove some junk from the houses in the starting village, but I can't actually repair roofs, repaint walls, fix floors etc. I was deeply disappointed. Ludonarrative whatsit on par with dragons in Skyrim.
