This is a really interesting article. I find it fascinating how smell plays a role in how we experience food. I wonder if certain healthy food that most people don't enjoy can be more appealing if they smell good. Could be another approach to promote healthy eating?

Thanks for sharing! I never liked carrots as a child and, even as an adult, I still don’t love the taste all that much. But in recent years, I’ve been adding them into my cooking(e.g. curries and soups)and I find them much more enjoyable. Great source of vitamins!🥕

I love to drink fruit teas, but most of the time I buy them at bubble tea store (not so healthy😅) and occasionally I make them at home. These look like great combos to make at home for this summer, especially citrus burst and pink Hawaiian!! Thank you for sharing! 🍹🍓

Tom Carroll's story reinforces my belief that nutrition&health is about finding the "right" way for yourself and be consistent, rather than following extreme diets or trends. Positive interactions, exercises, and consistency are great themes I see in Tom's story.

This is really useful information! I never knew measles can cause vitamin A deficiency. It’s important to understand that taking vitamin A helps treat the deficiency, but it doesn’t cure measles itself.

I didn't know that defect in leptin gene is linked with obesity. Another point James Corden made that really sticks to me is that shaming doesn't help lose weight. It only lead to anxiety and depression. People need support, healthier food options, and professional help.

I strongly agree with your opinion. Some people tend to be judgmental of others' lifestyles or appearance, especially on social media, where some may feel entitled to judge and criticize. It's more important to focus on yourself and your own development.

A barrier that I relate to is lack of time to prepare and cook. I'm always exhausted after clinical and don't have time or energy to cook balanced meals. I usually cook food that's fast and doesn't require a lot of cleaning. I try to eat more healthy on weekends.

A fun fact that I learned is that unsaturated fat is the healthier fat, while trans fat is the unhealthy type that is man-made and associated with heart disease. Fat is essential for our health, as it provides protection for our body and aid in absorbing nutrients.

I completely agree with you. I think many diet routine that I see on social media are too unrealistic and harmful to our health. Simply quitting a diet, like sugar or carbs, isn't 100% beneficial. I think it's more important to have a balanced diet than push for extremes.

2 in 5 diets "fail" in the first 7 days.
But this isn't us failing.
It's the diets that fail us.

Highly restrictive diets aren't sustainable because of biology and life. Quitting a diet isn't a personal or moral failing. It's not that you just lack willpower, it's that the system sucks.
