As if every "best in the world" athlete isn't a biologically and/or socially advantaged person already no matter what. Gotta make sure to keep that myth of fairness up so no one looks behind the curtain and realizes that, actually, we *can't* all achieve anything if we just try hard enough.

Because I am *exhausted* with this shit. I am exhausted with being put in this position of having to either keep my mouth shut or pushback. Like, I shouldn’t have to (and won’t) hide that I am not ok with transphobia, and I shouldn’t have to look like the person making everything awkward.

Like the more I think about it the more I might have to do this. At least that way the other person will be choosing to engage if they bring up their bullshit and then I can mentally feel free to respond like they want a fight.

Like maybe at least that way we can get the thing where an hour into a conversation I find out that they’re a transphobe or some other kind of bigot and that they just assume I must be one too. Clearly a lot of these people think I look like I’m one of them, so maybe I need to wear a sign
