I know it’s been said, but I don’t think nearly enough, that this shutdown is a mere preview of the assistance and services that will disappear if the Republicans get their way. Not only health care. We’ll be referring to this shutdown as “the good ol’ days.” Dems need to hold their ground.

NEW BASEBALL RULES: If a batter strikes out he’s out for the remainder of the game. If a team gets to under 9 position players they have to play short-handed in the field. Their batting order is shortened, as well.

This has been the case for a while now, but it’s clear to me that I have zero interest in listening to people talk about sports. I can’t remember the last time I watched a pre-game (or post-game) show. And I love sports. Now with the addition of gambling talk it’s probably less than zero.
