Norra lorra posting, mostly just sitting on the sidelines, with occasional #TheArchers interjections. She/her.
Just checked it out. Makes my legs feel fizzy...

I was thinking it might be an optical illusion using a fake foreground, but apparently not. 😳

The Forbidden Room. Twenty minutes in I said "I can't stand 2 hours of this." An hour in I was captivated, and by the end I wanted to see it again. I only watched it because Sparks did a song for it about a man having brain surgery to cure his fetish for bottoms.

I hope they appreciate your culinary skills!

BiL has a Bluesky account and I checked first that he doesn't follow me.

Bless him, but I am a bit disappointed every year. I'm envious of your family!

We've just had our usual minimalist xmas dinner at in-laws. Three (3) sprouts each. No seconds of anything except nephew's vegan nut roast. 😢

(It was all nice and I shouldn't complain about being cooked for!)

Hope you thoroughly enjoy it! x

Obviously no help now, but there are copies on eBay for under £2. Merry Christmas, hope you're having a good one! x

I think David Gilmour is supposed to be a decent chap.

Thanks for the warning. Think of it as them doing your waistline a favour.

Wow! (I do like the phrase "cheese powder solutions" - a cheese powder for every problem.)

Jacobs Cheeselets have been for a long time a pale imitation of their former glory: a massive hit of cheese powder when I was a kid, now barely cheesy at all, not worth buying. ☹️

Sadly I never seem to see reduced panettone after xmas any more. Stale, it makes great bread and butter pudding.

There's one of those in Market Halls Victoria too. I haven't dared use it.

I have, but it doesn't work. Copy link to the Bluesky post where it's mentioned, paste into a reminder, set it for a day or two hence when I think I'll have time to address it, the time comes, I reset reminder for a future time: repeat. Eventually I put them all in a text file and forget about them.

How would that work in a Victorian terrace I wonder?
November 25, 2025 at 9:25 AM
I thought it was bad enough having to run through a flooded bit on Coventry parkrun this morning!

It's ok if you wear them on the right, apparently.

It is, but it also implies that you can't just "change their minds" in any way. It's their whole culture.

Although instead of sending you to Reddit I should be encouraging you to turn off the computer...
