Nice variety of skull, nose, and eye shapes too actually. I know, i know, its nothing exceptional, its mostly that the other books are so bad.

But i'm pleasantly surprised that the other Morpho books in the same series also feature a diversity in body types. i don't know if it's literally unprecedented but i have not seen it before. These pages on fat, muscle and bones in the hand for example also feature chubby hands.

I bought some of the Morpho anatomy books specifically cause they run the literal only book i've ever seen on drawing fat and skin folds, i really like it #artrecs #artanatomy

Looking back I’m especially messing up on their temples , hair & eye symmetry. Gotta work on it

Trying to figure out a good way to draw hair that does not overwhelm the drawing and in different hair colours. Also have not yet figured out how to capture white or grey hairs . The white pens I have are of a very different material than my fountain pens and fineliners, so it clashes a lot

Here I tried to combine trois crayons with hatching and I did it with colour pencil instead and it really did not work haha. However it did make me wonder about the chemical makeup of colour pencil cause the white behaves so differently. #art

Been trying to learn hatching, it’s pretty hard. It’s a good way to improve line control and practice form though. Experimenting with different mediums and types of hatching.

Trying to figure out how to use alcohol markers. The hair was not it, clearly. Not extremely happy with it cause the lack of control over the markers mean the shapes of the face are kinda messed up, but only one way to master them! #art
