It’s true. It feels 100% safer and I am much happier here than what remains of the site formally known as Twitter. I have found almost everyone I care about hearing from on #bluesky and am done with the toxicity and doomscrolling.
So refreshing. Social media is Social again
Honestly the discourse on here is so much better than Twitter. I tossed off a take, people came in to correct me, we had a conversation, and folks were willing to give me grace about the stuff I admitted I got wrong!

I am thankful for a social media site that’s not run by disinformation-pushing maniacal billionaire, not controlled by an algorithm design to censor news and much-needed debate, and not overrun by mean-spirited people who encourage and celebrate ignorance. Thankful, indeed.
