Mediocre skateboarding | Incidental birdwatching.
It should be. Affordable and practical so even small towns could get a park. Better than an awkward $500,000 lump of concrete. The goal for parks should be if a little kid is stoked on skateboarding, they don't leave the park thinking skateboarding is utterly impossible.

I spend an obscene amount of time thinking about park design and I honestly think the easiest fix would be to build everything 6" lower and use 8' transitions instead of 6'. Obviously we need more straight ledges with lots of good flatground, but making everything a bit lower would be way better.

The AL MVP award is a travesty. I quit caring about it a few years back when Sal Perez hit 48 homers and wasn't even a finalist.

That was that era when so many teams rebranded to modernize their logos. None of them looked great and it was better when teams didn't, even if they looked dated at the time.

Now that's the type of logo design we don't get any more. Right up there with the Brewers, Expos, and Whalers logos.

Tom K.'s part in that video is top shelf stuff. And also why was that stuff started firmly before Halloween?

It'd be nice to have music videos back. Low overhead in the declining age of revenue on cable and an endless supply of cheap content, unlike back in 1981. Videos are also the ideal format for our collective declining attention spans.

It was a good run. Rob can take a break from his optimized life style schedule and spend some unplanned time with his family now. Do this mean MTV will go back to showing music videos again?

This is a very niche basketball post that I'm all here for. Didn't Cedric do the blind folded dunk?
