If the next administration does not hold these people accountable, then we do not have a country worth keeping.
They're using the confinement box, one of the most horrific methods of CIA torture in the post-9/11 black sites, against migrants now. This is the direct result of the lack of consequences for the architects of the torture program. Either there will be criminal penalties for this or it will expand.

It’s important to understand that this administration lies constantly. In fact, they see lying in this way as virtuous, they see their ability to get away with it as proof of their strength.
The tone of this video is completely wild. It's filmed like a high school media class project. It looks like it too; the presentation and graphics are amateurish. And yet it's chilling, because she's a real government spokesperson dismissing reports of abuses in detention with finger quotes.

We are squarely in America's Nazi era. If you ever read about Nazi Germany and thought "I wouldn't have stood by and let that happen," I ask you to stop standing by and letting this happen.
