I hope the next four national champion teams in college football are Indiana, Vanderbilt, Texas Tech, and Virginia Tech.

This is one of those years in college football where a 16-team playoff actually makes a lot of sense. You could argue Vanderbilt and Texas are both better teams, right now, than Alabama and Ole Miss. Regardless of what happens today, some really good teams are going to miss the playoffs.

I have mixed feelings on this. Pry was a great DC at Penn State. So, I’m less concerned about him putting a good product on the field. Would help with roster retention, for sure. Most of the players loved Pry.
I think we’ll need strong position coach hires on that side.

They have a history, so it's not completely unfounded. I'm remembering when Bud stayed on when Fuentes was hired, but this isn't after a retirement.

Fernando Mendoza is definitely the superior pro prospect to Ty Simpson. But, I'm not sure either is truly a franchise changing prospect.
For fantasy, I'm not that excited about either of them. Would lean Mendoza but spending the 1.02 or 1.03 for a likely QB2 is very meh.

This is a good hire for the Nittany Lions. If the #Hokies didn’t sign James Franklin, Matt Campbell was the top name on my list.
I really like the Billy Napier hire at JMU but I don't think he's as good of a coach as Cignetti or Chesney. Though, JMU has more resources than any other Sun Belt school by a wide margin so he should undoubtedly do well there. But, if we're splitting hairs, this is a small step back for them.

Really excited about this 2026 recruiting class for the #Hokies. Lots of OL depth, some good DL pieces, several good linebackers, a dynamic running back, and good long-term quarterback prospect with elite traits.
