WIP but the stain looks pretty good before poly. I was afraid it would end up too dark but the wood and countertops really contrast nicely.

Work on the kitchen remodel proceeds. Next up, doors for this pantry area (which used to house a double oven) and gel-staining the lower cabinets. You can see the induction range and new tile which started the whole process (we needed a new stove and oven something fierce)

It's yardwork season, finally (best spring time in Oregon in like, what, ten~fifteen years?). I mowed the back 40 AKA The Poop Barrens. All the work "mastering nature" before the fence went in payed off, it's almost a manageable space now.
