All of us, regardless of what we look like or where we were born, should feel safe at school, at the doctor’s office, or at a house of worship. Due to the Trump Administration, ICE now has free reign to arrest people in these sacred spaces, threatening their sanctity for everyone.

Kateryna [pseudonym] fled from Ukraine and came to the United States through the humanitarian parole program, Uniting for Ukraine, once the war broke out. Now due to the Trump administration’s actions, she’s left in limbo, unable to work and provide for herself.

All across the U.S., people are showing up for their hearings and sharing their information voluntarily, only to be met by ICE agents outside courthouses, arrested and removed from the U.S. without due process. We had our first hearing in court today in CHIRLA v. Noem to stop this harmful practice.

In Noem v. Svitlana Doe, #SCOTUS greenlit the deportation orders of an estimated half a million people.

This is the largest such de-legalization in the modern era.

Today, #SCOTUS granted the Trump admin’s request to block a district court order in Noem v. Svitlana Doe, stripping the legal status and work permits of hundreds of thousands of people who came to the U.S. through CHNV humanitarian parole.
