I made recurring donations to the Dems and have seen little to no progress on any issue. I have said I won't donate again until I see results, but I decided today I will donate. I've been wanting to ask this question for a while but held off after all the political turmoil lately because how much controversy can anyone take? However, in light of an ENORMOUS spill last night, I now feel compelled to ask- is it me, or are paper towels just not as absorbent as they used to be?

Recently learned that my mom (killed by lung cancer) chose not to tell me she was treated for colon cancer (bowel resection) YEARS before the lung cancer got her. I'm sure she didn't want me to worry, but this would have been nice to know before I avoided having colonscopies for the past 5 years...

I can't stop thinking about how "Broadcast News" was so prophetic it physically hurts.
