And all the #Autistic women out there, both diagnosed and self-diagnosed, who have been called weird and awkward more than once, keep being your lovely selves and keep asking the hard questions and telling the truth. We need honesty and acceptance more than anything else these days. ♥
When you think it can't get any more ridiculous, this happens. What's next? Saying that AOC is pushing for schools to teach the Latin alphabet?

Almost a year into Trump's second term, veterans doing business with DC are feeling the sting of the president's efforts to shrink the federal government and DOGE’s crusade to combat what it calls waste, fraud and abuse.
Veteran-owned businesses are feeling burned by Trump’s contract cutting
Among the contracts DOGE canceled under the Department of Veterans Affairs alone, two-thirds were with veteran-owned businesses.

The problem is not vaccines or Tylenol when it comes to #Autism. It's ignorance and the people who have problems with disability in general because of their own feelings of inferiority, inadequacy and insecurity. I'm so tired of the liars and haters preaching falsehoods about Autism and disabilities

Yesterday, the CDC changed a webpage to lie about vaccines and autism. Vaccines are an important part of public health. HHS Secretary RFK Jr. and Acting CDC Director Jim O’Neill cannot be trusted to tell the truth. They must be removed from office immediately. autisticadvocacy.org/2025/11/kenn...

We want to speak directly to members of the Military and the Intelligence Community.

The American people need you to stand up for our laws and our Constitution.

Don’t give up the ship.

Life isn’t easy, governing isn’t easy, getting justice isn’t easy, nothing is easy but we are all adults and it’s our responsibility to just do it. Eliminate easy from your vocabulary.

Leaders will ask disability advocates they don't even know for checklists and rules and guidance on any topic before they will ask their one employee with a chronic illness what they want to do as a team building activity.

I often get pushback when I make points like this, from those dying to ask “but what about the *really* disabled autistic people?”… all assuming I don’t live with a disabled autistic teenager.
I do, by the way, and she’s awesome. And she deserves better than people using her as an anti-ND argument.

It ridiculous that many don't see a car with "disco lights" flashing by the side of the row. Either that, or they simply choose to ignore the law.

I'd bet that as soon as the current [white, male] Detroit mayor's term is over, they'll do with the city the same they've been doing with all blue cities that have a non-white, male pwrson serving as mayor.

@indivisible.org has asked us to boycott Spotify as long as they are running ICE recruitment ads. I think that is a good enough reason to do it, but I think this collective action does so much more than we realize. These are muscles and mindsets we are building now for bigger actions to come.
The Spotify boycott is about so much more than you realize

I’m still struggling with the fact that ICE “brown shirts” went to a taco shop and thought they would get served.

F that!

Michigan's elections have been safe, secure and accurate when administered by both Democratic and Republican Secretaries of State. Recent years have seen inquiries and reviews, all of which confirm that Michigan’s elections were administered according to the law.

i just read something about grief from C.S. Lewis and his book, “A Grief Observed”

basically, when someone you love dies, it isn’t just them that you miss, but the parts of yourself that person brought out of you that can never be brought out again.

i feel that with my dad.
