#COVID has just worked its way through our COVID-careful-family which on vacation (booked with our employer 18 months ago) with me testing positive this morning. It started from our 8 year old attending a “daycare” the week prior while we worked. We have HEPA filters. Wife & I had JN.1 boosters 1/x

4 patients on a 30-bed #Hospital ward I work on with #Alcohol induced Liver #Disease. All gravely ill. All 50+ years old. I don’t remember it being this bad … where is society going so wrong? #MentalHealth, social isolation, severe childhood #trauma, lack of education about the its toxicity? #Health

Serious question: were these types of occurrences happening regularly pre-2020, yet we’re more aware of it because we’re “sensitised” due to the #COVID experience? Or are these occurrences truely a new “thing”?
