We all need to wake up.
Easy to lose this in the noise of the day, but the prime minister of Canada just said the US president, leader of the global hegemon, wants to soften us up economically so he can annex us.

That is one of the most remarkable statements, and realities, in our history.

Ukraine is Europe!
We stand by Ukraine.

We will step up our support to Ukraine so that they can continue to fight back the agressor.

Today, it became clear that the free world needs a new leader. It’s up to us, Europeans, to take this challenge.

While it will get easier to fool people using AI-generated content at large scale, it will get much easier to fact-check and debunk lies at the same time. But social media platforms must be required by law to employ fact-checking agents. I am optimistic that we can fight misinformation effectively.

Wouldn't quantum systems allow for modeling truly recurrent (no compression via language "thoughts") NNs with non-locality through entanglement (thus no "layers" and step-wise propagation)? Could any expert provide me pointers to good seminal papers on that matter? :-) #quantum #qml

Wondering what’s harder to reveal: The answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything, or what’s the first name of Kaggle‘s CEO Sculley!?

Anyone else feeling extremely overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information, connections, ideas and opportunities at NeurIPS? So hard to pause for a second and process. Will need to digest this for weeks to come. #NeurIPS24
