It's weird to see Republicans not get what Trump loves about trade wars. They give him his favorite things: bullying people using someone else's leverage, demanding loyalty, & announcing deals that make him feel big. Foremost, another tool to wage war on the Constitution.

We’re in a golden age of vaccines. They are becoming ever more valuable against both infectious diseases and multiple forms of cancer. This past week saw the announcement of a vaccine that’s broadly effective against coronaviruses, including COVID and the common cold.

If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

Now is the time to set up refugee networks to hide and get people to safety. People need to be safely brought into countries that won’t deport them into a war zone
