PBO modelling Sen Pocock & I commissioned in April '24 shows that reforms to neg gearing could boost housing affordability rates of home ownership & deliver $16B savings to the Budget over a decade. Fixing negative gearing won't fix the housing problem but it would be a bloody good start! #auspol
