i haven't used social media since 2015 tumblr. never really very good at posting
playing some more koriko (i'm done with departure and two entries into arrival with 6k words down, as a measure of how it's going), and i just noticed that the pick-lists under each prompt rhyme.

truly cannot recommend this game enough, i'm deeply deeply enchanted by it.

puzzmo rules tbh. pile-up poker and circuits are my current favs, but they've got a ton of really fun puzzles and games. 19 bucks/year is a steal.
If you're trying to ditch NYT Games, which you should be since their games singlehandedly prop up the entire dogshit rag financially, you should switch to Puzzmo. An annual sub is 50% off today for a crazy $19 and as a bonus doesn't enable the genocides of Palestinians and trans people
Puzzmo — The (new) place for thoughtful puzzles.
Re-imagined mainstays like the daily Crossword Puzzle, modern classics like Really Bad Chess and SpellTower, and even a few brand new puzzles.

CHOTINER: So you asked for a Birkin bag?
KOKO: Yes. Possession Bag.
CHOTINER: And you had the funds to acquire this?
KOKO: No, Professor Purchase Koko Gorilla
CHOTINER: That doesn't sound like the funds were justifiable.
KOKO: Hostility Interviewer

for tonight's duet one-shot (or rather, two-shot) we played The Magical Year of a Teenage Witch, a light-hearted, prompt-based journaling game based off TYOV (which i also love):

to be honest I've always found it kinda fun to end up being a little bit crappy at whatever I try to do... Takes a lot of pressure off, and I feel like everyone can tell when you're doing something just for the love of the game

my favorite thing about party of one is that every single episode gets me SO excited about games and storytelling. i feel like half the games i own, i picked up after learning about them here. truly one of the best podcasts out there, with a staggering variety of RPGs in the back-catalogue.
10 years of 2-player TTRPGs, and intimate one-on-one conversations. Thanks for coming along for the ride so far. Here's to many more parties to come.

If you'd like to quote-tweet this with kind words, or a favorite episode, or what you like about the show, I would appreciate it.

Party On, y'all.

last weekend's #sunderedisles session zero:

Harrow, a mechanical mercenary, sets out to destroy the empire it once served. it's joined by Maya, a lycanthrope who's fleeing her own troubled past, both sailing on a once-sunken ship, gifted by an enigmatic god from the depths of the sea.
