Do I believe that’s what Democrats have in mind with that slogan? That’s a different question. But- Republicans turned “fiscal and personal responsibility” into trillions in debt and government involvement in our most personal of lives. We can twist “strong floor, no ceiling” into what’s needed. 3/3

The floor is the part that really matters. Make it so any person can take any risk, without fearing for their food, home, or health, and we will all reap the benefit as we climb higher than our wildest dreams. (2/3)

That’s my suspicion as well. I don’t know how exactly the Trumpets intend to make money on this, but there’s gotta be something. Like, they take a percentage of dividends or one of the indexes is Trump crypto- it’s gotta be something.

This wouldn’t be alarming, it wouldn’t even be noteworthy, if adults were in charge. But a Trumpist National Security apparatus saying this is terrifying. They don’t want to supplement and improve. They cut and accept the deficiencies.

I will admit, though, I had thought/hoped that the more established religions would at least be resistant to that idea. But once again, the right has lived down beneath my lowest expectations. (2/2)

Then go home, Roger Williams, and be at your leisure. There are plenty of decent human beings who’d be willing to take your seat and hold only broad based index funds, or even no investments at all, just for the privilege of serving their fellow citizens.

Error? No way. That was either a staffer taking a stand, or a very intentional signal to Trump’s real base. Either way- I don’t buy that it was a mistake.

The Custom Saber Show sells the pieces for you to build your own, for the full Jedi experience. :) A little more involved, but nothing like picking the exact design for your hilt and having a truly custom built prop. (And that was years ago- it may be even simpler to put together these days). (2/3)

I had an Ultrasabers one once, but just a soundless, flashlight base type. The handle was very nice, though. Can’t speak to how their LED in blade (for the extending look) and sound capable ones are. (1/2)
