“Violence against women is a toxic online culture that allows young men to feel entitled to women's attention and to react with violence when they don't get it, leading to a 14-year-old girl in NDG recently being stabbed in the face for rejecting a boy's advances.”

Gender-based violence is an everyday reality, and it starts with minimizing misogyny
As we highlight 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence and the upcoming anniversary of the Montreal massacre, can we take a moment to reflect on all the different forms this violence takes?

“Nearly all of our modern gun control legislation came about as a consequence of the tragedy and subsequent lobbying by the gun control advocates born at Polytechnique that night.

“We must fight like hell to make sure it doesn’t happen again.”

Never forget Polytechnique
The Polytechnique massacre on Dec. 6, 1989 was a mass femicide that left an indelible imprint on all Montrealers.

Every single Canadian NEEDS to watch this because this is important info that EVERY VOTER needs to understand!
He’s right, the things the Federal govt does is make investments for Canada, sets up the law of the land, ensures regulations are followed and hands out money to the Provinces, there is more but, the Provincial Premiers control what is going on in each Province.

What a season.

This was about so much more than baseball. The tears from Vladdy were Canada’s tears.

The Jays accomplished what no other MLB team could: they united a country.

Proud to be Canadian tonight.
