They do not exist. We have linkpearls/shells and the Garleans have early radio.
kinda curious how people view cellphones in their WoL's universe/headcanon. kind of a question for the player too.
does your WoL have a cellphone and use it to text/call people, or are they just a linkpearl user? maybe nothing at all, or maybe they send letters?

straight up I do not acknowledge the tomephones. we already have remote communication technology it's called linkpearls, I don't need the setting to erode even more of its existing worldbuilding to make itself more like the real world for the sake of people who put their catgirls in blue jeans
