My name is Juan Andres Diaz Torres. I'm a Catholic Puerto Rican visual artist with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) who specializes in cartoon drawing and abstract art. I occasionally dabble in 3D modeling and rendering, music production, and coding.
How is it that I've failed to notice the fact that these renders make use of MICB's upcoming volumetric rendering 🤔

I previously thought the godrays were (cleverly and creatively) faked. Yes, I think godrays look pretty, which is why I'm excited to make use of them alongside subsurface scattering 🙃

Ya' wanna know something funny? I was unknowingly developing a mod for Minecraft Alpha v1.0.0. It just so happens that this version of Minecraft: Java Edition is mislabeled in-game as "Minecraft Infdev". Oops 🙃

As if turns out, the "abysmal performance" thing largely applies to RetroMCP-Java, which is the tool I'm using to develop my Minecraft mod and it's where I first test it. It runs better on BetaCraft, although, I do still get stutters whenever new chunks are being generated (even with JVM arguments).

I've changed my mind about being a permanent shader developer for Mine-imator Community Build, I simply want to make a one-time (shader-related) contribution to the project with what I've shown above.

For anyone interested, I will be sharing two links here...

This one is for ClassiCube itself: www.classicube.net

This one is a GitHub repository hosting various plugins for ClassiCube, including the one I used: github.com/ClassiCube/C...

I think text-based environments work better for me in this regard because I have all the time in the world to think about how I want to go about describing what I have in mind. It generally feels a lot slower paced for me, which aligns well with the sloth's pace of my thinking process.

I have a limited amount of time to form a sentence during these situations. Right when I finally have a sentence formed, either it might've already been too late to say whatever I had in mind 'cause we've changed the subject, or the words leave my head at the most inconvenient moment.

My dad once commented on how Kelvin's hair looks like a pair of (perhaps thick cartoon) fingers. I can see where he is coming from with that comparison.

So, my boy Kelvin is walkin' around town with a 3-sausage-finger mohawk.
