The Arathorian Empire dissolved into the Seven Kingdoms, and as of the start of Warcraft's Dragonflight, all but two of them (*) are active and in the Alliance: Alterac*, Kul-Tiras, Stormwind, Lordaeron*, Stromgarde, Gilneas, and Dalaran.

I share your caution. The networking effect is really strong on social media, and you can only dethrone an incumbent with a radically better mousetrap. Remains to be seen if Bluesky is it.
But it has a promising start. Expectations will rise. The Bsky.Team has to deliver. Pressure! 💪🏼

The new user onboarding is much better here than in Mastodon. Simpler, direct, easy. It needs user adoption to grow, and Bluesky has a long way to go.

In 1980s Retro Tech, the Fisher PH-W464 BOOMBOX AM/FM STEREO Radio Dual Cassette Blaster, with auto reverse and high speed dubbing. Given to me as a birthday present in the mid 1980s by my Great Uncle Pepe, this machine was a beast! Anyone else have this beauty?

The real world perks are really nice. About a decade ago, when I became a Partner at EchoDitto, a small marketing and communications agency, they decided to start awarding swords, too. Mine, a replica of Ice, the Sword of Eddard Stark from Game of Thrones, still hangs in my home office!
