folks really need to accept that "lawful" and "lawless" don't matter, what matters is being able to marshal and deploy force (force of capital, the force of arms, the force of a crowd...) none of the people running the country right now give a good goddamn about the law
Reminder: this is completely lawless

in retrospect it is pretty incredible that the media pressed donald trump, a man known for lying, about his obvious connection to project 2025 a single time. he said “nope :)” and the mainstream media collectively accepted that as truth. what a useless bunch of losers

oh, uh.

had an earworm lately and it goes something like "da da da, doomed to repeat." can't quite place it, let y'all know when I figure it out.
good thing trump fired the entire Aviation Security Advisory Committee last week and is redirecting funds towards deportations.

unrelated, remember how hitler fired the head of airship safety for not being pro-nazi and then put in a yes man willing to cut corners and then the hindenburg blew up?

gonna just keep this response on hand for the next several years
I don't see much point in arguing which elderly racist white man is technically responsible for this particular fuckup

okay so follow-up to last week's question re: low residency MFA programs... that it turns out I probably can't afford 🙃

anybody have fiction/poetry-writing class, group, contest, retreat, etc suggestions? low cost barrier is appreciated.

Quick boost for the daytime skeeters - anyone have leads on funded low-residency MFA programs?
hey, anyone out here in the BlueSkyverse who decided to get their MFA remotely - any tips on finding a program and funding? I can't uproot/relocate, but I also can't pay 50K for a master's degree 🙃 any recs are deeply appreciated

"Riding Beneath Čháŋ Óhaŋ" is another mythologized-memory-made-poem - this time, recounting a trail ride at the foot of the Crazy Horse monument. It's partially a daydream and reflection, & part mourning for a world robbed by colonization.

"Off the Side of the 101" is one of my favorite pieces to date. A favorite memory of mine, made mythological by time and a slant in the light - it's dark and atmospheric and just a tad bit cryptid-y. Let me know what you think, yeah?

Hey, fellow Twitter refugees!

I'm intending to make this account home to my published poetry and writing, but politics and life will probably seep in the cracks every now and again.

If you're a writer and vibe with my work, drop me a line! I'd love to chat.
