Ok ALX - do you want a piano or know someone who does? Please take mine before I have to take a sledgehammer to it and send it to the dump!

Very curious about the thinking that resulted in someone blocking my driveway with a GCOO scooter.

My third time today riding the people’s limo - fast, efficient, and mercifully cool way to get around town! I ❤️ DASH bus!

Hey ALX Skeets: join for my favorite Thanksgiving tradition - hijinks and shenanigans in Charles Hill Park (Dewitt & Mt. Ida) on Thanksgiving day. Stop by between 1:30ish and 4ish for apps/drinks/games and good old community fun

The big question after tonight: how are we going to be concepts of a plan for the Del Ray Halloween Parade?

Somebody alert me when it’s @oconnell.bsky.social’s turn on the First Thursday mechanical bull.

I love the rhythm of the morning in Del Ray. I sit on the porch with a cup of coffee and watch the parade: people walking dogs then MVCS kids walking/scootering with their parents to school then swarms of middle schoolers on bikes heading to GW then adults biking to work. Cue the Mr. Rogers theme.

This. Absolutely this.
I maintain our issue is we are on the cusp between very large town and small city. We have city-sized problems (more strain on social services than we can manage) but a town-size budget and mindset. We have to get over the hump (via economic development for more revenue) to be better.

Was so happy to stand up for my good friend Jesse today - and to see the absolutely fabulous crowd of people there to cheer him on!
One fantastic Alexandria person introducing another fantastic Alexandria person. This city so lucky.

Every time I come home for Mardi Gras I think “Why don’t I live here” and start searching for property. I would love to see real estate web statistics for this time of year because I know I am not alone…

One of my favorite things about the Del Ray tree lighting is remembering when it was just a handful of us with a thermos of hot chocolate. Nancy would be so proud of the community for continuing to grow how she knew we would. www.instagram.com/p/C0WvYHvu1R...

My choice to come home and watch this online rather than sit in chambers was definitely a good one.
