I genuinely hate that of all anime, they chose Banana Fish for this abomination. It sounds *awful* and is a clear instance of the quiet part being said out loud in terms of actual intentions when it comes to using AI: replacing actual talent/labour and prioritizing profit.
As someone who loves to watch so-bad-its-good content PLEASE understand you can't give shit like this the time of day
The only way to convince these companies to not use AI dubbing is to show it's not profitable, STAY AWAY from hate-watching and instead spend that time watching dubs you love

The only thing less human than these AI dub performances is the decision to sign off on them
